Despite the coronavirus pandemic and other challenges and hardships that occurred this year, these celebrities did not relent in their hard work as they were still able to afford to buy brand new houses.
Owning a house has been considered to be the best form of security as well as the best way to build wealth and these stars no doubt took advantage of the opportunity to expand their portfolio this year. The following celebrities became homeowners of luxurious houses this year and some of them even took to social media to announce them.
David Adeleke aka David
Popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke is also known as Davido acquired a mansion in Banana Island Lagos in May 2020. In a series of videos posted on social media, Davido thrilled his fans to a tour of his luxurious property.
Although it is not clear how much the new house costs, the value of properties in Banana island which is an extremely exclusive area in Lagos cost billions of naira. Davido was seen to share his happiness on social media noting that he has always wanted a house like that.
Abbey Elias aka Skiibii
To celebrate his birthday back in July this year, popular Nigerian singer, Abbey Elias is also known as Skiibii, joined the big leagues by getting himself a new house.
He shared photos of his mansion on his Instagram page and fans could not help but marvel at the lovely edifice. Skiibii’s estimated Net Worth-based Royalties, Income, Cars, the house is said to be about 300 Million.

Iyabo Ojo
Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, also got herself and family a house this year. The mother of two announced her new home on social media as she thanked God for his blessings.
The new property is at Lekki though no reports have been done on how much it costs. The film star celebrated her new home in grand style as she threw a housewarming party which had some of her colleagues in the industry in attendance.
Azeez Adeshina Fashola aka Naira Marley
Although Naira Marley is a controversial Nigerian singer, he is not one to like to show off his luxury lifestyle. He, however, made news earlier this year when he acquired his fifth house in Lekki.
Naira Marley took to his social media, Instagram account to share the news. He posted the photo of his latest house while thanking the realtor that helped him in the acquisition process.
Emmanuella Samuel
Child comedian, Emmanuella Samuel known as Emmanuella is not left out as she built a house for her parents this year.
The 10-year-old star left many people impressed after she unveiled the beautiful house she built for her mother on social media. Her mum wanted a portable house and that is exactly what she gifted her while she promised to complete a bigger one, a mansion, by the year 2021.
The comedian who features on Mark Angel’s YouTube channel got people talking with the enviable achievement as many praised her for her gesture although some question why didn’t give her father a similar gift.
Emmanuella’s first appearance on YouTube was on episode 34 on Mark Angel’s channel titled “Who Mess?”.
Damilola Abdul Rasak Afolabi aka Lax
Popular Nigerian singer, Lax happens to be the latest celebrity homeowner as he very recently shared the news of his new house on social media. The music star said that he had always dreamt of the day he would become a landlord and he was glad to see it happen. Lax announced his new house shortly after the release of his new album titled ZaZa vibes.
