Somewhere in the foothills of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, 84 acres are about to change hands. And nobody knows the price.

Tessentee Farm goes under the hammer on Saturday, 7 November, in a luxury auction with no reserve. No minimum. No safety net. Whoever bids highest walks away with the keys, whatever the number.

And there is plenty to walk away with. A luxe main residence. An upscale event barn, the kind of space that practically begs for weddings and long summer parties. Several guest cottages for all the friends who will suddenly want to visit every weekend.

Here is the part that gets the heart racing… this estate was previously asking $6.9 million. On Saturday it could fetch that. Or a whole lot less. Somebody might be about to land the deal of the decade.

Platinum Luxury Auctions is running the sale with listing agent Isaiah Thomas Johns of Mountain Pro Real Estate Professionals.

Full details are in the official auction announcement.

So, would you bid?

Tell us in the comments: would you take the gamble on Tessentee Farm, or let someone else roll the dice?
